About us
NORSK FJORDSKINN was established in 2018 by Marianne Mørck.
Marianne Mørck has experience from sustainable fashion through her engagement in the fashion company MØRCK. She was invited to a fashion show for sustainable fashion already in 2015 at the climate conference in Paris (COP21) and she participated in the round-table conference “Changer la mode pour le climat”. Her brand MØRCK has specialised on utilisation of sustainable materials such as leather and locally produced textiles.
In 2020, she established NORSK FJORDSKINN AS together with TomRoger Larsen.
Larsen has experience from development of industrial electronics and he had established two start-up companies Tecnec Electronics AS and Dtecto AS. He has in the aftermath withdrawn for Norsk Fjordskinn.
NORSK FJORDSKINN AS is cooperating with NTNU on research and development and has received support from Innovasjon Norge as "Environmental Technology Company".
Norsk Fjordskinn has established a tanning laboratory in Trondheim, Norway for development of tanning agents and tanning processes.
We have a cooperation with Isfjord Norway AS on scaling up the tanning capacity and eventually establish a tannery where the new innovative solutions will be implemented. The ultimate goal is to demonstrate that fish leather tanning can create values and exiting products.

Vårt styre
Styremedlemmene i Norsk Fjordskinn har bred kompetanse fra tekonologi og økologisk økonomi.
I tillegg til Marianne Mørck og Tom Roger Larsen sitter Mons Hauge og Silje B. Risholm i styret for Norsk Fjordskinn as.
Mons Hauge er seniorrådgiver innen materialteknologi ved Equinor forskningssenter på Rotvoll, og har vært forskningssjef ved SINTEF og i Equinor.
Silje B. Risholm har master i økologisk økonomi fra Nord Universitet og en bachelorgrad i sammenlignende politikk og kinesisk språk fra UiB & UiO. Hun jobber som seniorrådgiver Havbruk i Miljøstiftelsen Bellona.
